CBGB Guitar Vintage Tank arrives as part of our Rock Archive series. The front features a layered collage of the iconic CBGB & OMFUG mark, 315 Bowery address, “Since ’73” detail and a stark guitar graphic cutting through the centre. Rendered in distressed monochrome against a heavy relic black ground, the artwork carries raw downtown tension, echoing the grit of the Bowery era. The back is finished with a bold CBGB and OMFUG ’73 print across the shoulders, adding presence from every angle.

Reworked into a raw edge tank, the sleeves are cut away and left unfinished, exposing a sharper shoulder line and open arm shape. The body falls straight with a relaxed vintage proportion, holding structure through the chest while dropping clean through the waist. It feels customised, stage-worn and direct, shaped by hand and built for heat, lights and movement.

Crafted from heavyweight cotton and washed down to a heavily worn black tone, the surface shows depth, fade and authentic abrasion throughout. Subtle distressing and washed-out highs give it the feel of a hard-lived original. The artwork is hand screen printed in the UK using vintage-weight inks designed to soften and crack over time.
